Payment Process

Our booking and payment process involves just a few steps in order to ensure your booking is confirmed:

  1. Request a booking via our listings.
  2. We will confirm availability, which you can see on the Reservations page
  3. You will receive an Invoice, which you can see on the Invoices Page
  4. In order to secure your booking, you will be required to pay a 50% Deposit
  5. Once we receive your Deposit, your booking will be confirmed
  6. Please be sure to familiarise yourself with our Terms and Conditions for bookings

International Bank Payments

At Harcourts we endeavour to ensure your booking and payment process is as smooth and painless as possible! In order to achieve this goal, we have engaged with a payment partner, Currency Partners, who are available to help with international payments.

Currency Partners ensure that the cost of transferring funds from your bank account to ours is quick, efficient and at the lowest possible cost to yourself. Transfers are affected in real time, at a quoted rate and without the additional service fees you would normally experience in a transaction of this nature. It is undoubtedly a better method of affecting international transfers than a direct request to your bank.

The process involves:

  1. Register with Currency Partners if you have not done so already. Currency Partners are available on (Telephone Number/ e-mail address) to help you with this process.
  2. Should you wish, we will ask Currency Partners to contact you and help with the registration process, which takes just a few minutes!
  3. Currency partners will contact you after registration and quote an exchange rate, free of any additional fees!
  4. Transfer Funds into the Currency Partners international bank account, and the rest will be done on your behalf!
  5. Deposit Refunds are also taken care of in a cost effective and time efficient manner.

Should you wish to pay us from a South African bank account, or should you prefer not to use Currency Partners, the details of our local bank account can be found on your invoice. Please note however that refunds to international bank accounts using this method are less time efficient and more costly.

Booking and Payment Policy

Key points of our Terms and Conditions with respect to bookings is as follows:

  1. A Deposit of 50% of the accommodation fee is immediately due
  2. Bookings are confirmed once payment of the deposit is reflected in our bank account
  3. The balance of the accommodation fee and breakage deposit will be due 30 days before arrival
  4. A refundable breakage deposit of R 7500.00 will be required. Rental deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the guest. Should Harcourts Platinum Erinvale manage to re-let the premises for the same period and rate, a refund may be made after the occupation date. A minimum administration fee of 20% plus Vat of the total rental will however be forfeited.
  5. A cleaning fee of R 800.00 is payable for each booking.
